Back-end developers — tired of the corporate grind and endless sea of cubicles? Ready to finally be part of those awesome projects you've been reading about? We are always looking for hard-working folks to roll up their sleeves and join the Sparkbox team in Dayton.
We build responsive, standards-compliant, content-focused, well-crafted, accessible, valuable, beautiful websites and web apps, and we're looking for some web geeks that want to do the same. We're looking for web application development experience in PHP and at least one other language (Ruby, .NET, Python, etc). Bonus points for work in Ruby, JavaScript, ExpressionEngine, and MySQL.
Passion, character, and a portfolio of web app development are a requirement. A long resumé is not — as long as you care about the right things, we can help build your skillset. We pay competitively and strive for a strong team culture of ownership.
We also love Macs, food, and our families. Not necessarily in that order.
