She’s witty. She’s jovial. She loves John Mayer, and she doesn’t care who knows it. Meet Leah, the new Administrative Assistant at Sparkbox whose engaging balance of warmth and self-efficacy has captivated our hearts. She joins the team to help keep Ben and Rob organized while also offering meaningful contributions to our events, our social media and marketing endeavors, the Foundry, and other operational efforts.
Leah recently graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Professional and Technical Writing, where she served as the Editor in Chief of The Guardian (a weekly student newspaper) and managed several student writers. She also worked as the Content Specialist for the Raj Soin School of Business. That wide-angle view of education, experience, and management promises to render plenty of empathy when collaborating with her fellow Sparkbox teammates. Already, she’s jumped in headfirst and proven herself to be a logistical wizard.
When she’s not mastering tasks at the Sparkbox office, you’ll find Leah behind the lens of a Canon Mark II camera. She’s passionate about photography and stays busy snapping family shoots and weddings each weekend. The Sparkbox team recently enjoyed the chance to be the focus of her artistry as she clicked her way around our Independence Day party. In the moments between adjusting the aperture on her camera and burying herself in photo edits, you’ll find Leah mingling with friends, drinking coffee, updating her “pretty corner of the internet,” or writing.
The next time you attend a Sparkbox event, read a Foundry article, or schedule a meeting with our leadership team, you’ll know Leah had a hand in making it all picture-perfect. Stop over to say hi, and be sure to like a photo or two.
