Now Hiring: Project Manager (with added skill)

If you love collaboration, can manage responsive frontend and web application projects well, and can also do something else super well, we'd love to have you join our team!

Who We're Looking For

Jared Spool has talked a lot about unicorns to describe the type of web professionals he thinks the world needs. Essentially, web professionals should be more than just one thing. In order to work on the web, you should know all you can about the web. Your general knowledge should be wide, but you should also have deep skillsets you can dive into. And that’s exactly what we’re looking for with our newest opening for a Project Manager.

If you have the skills to manage responsive frontend and web application projects well, empathize with clients while also encouraging them to make good decisions for their businesses and web users—and you can do something else super well—then we want you! So, please tell us all about your PM skills, but don’t forget to let us know about any other specialties you possess (User Experience, Development, Design, Content Strategy, gosh there’s just so much cool stuff that goes into building the web, and we’d love to hear all you can offer).

Our Culture

The Sparkbox team is fanatical about collaboration with coworkers and clients and believes it leads to the best, timeless work. We also love to learn and keep learning and learning, and then sharing what we’ve learned with the greater web industry.

In return for your outstanding work, Sparkbox offers a flexible schedule, competitive salary, new equipment, health benefits, and paid vacation. People and families come first around here, which is part of why we offer more than 14 paid holidays (including a week shutdown at the end of the year).

And we aren't kidding about loving to learn. Along with a flexible schedule comes eight hours a week that you can dedicate to learning and teaching—which may include assisting with our apprenticeship program—and we support and encourage employees to write and speak at events. We also love digging into our group-made, family-style Friday lunches and following those up with some fiercely competitive ping pong.

We’re looking forward to learning about you.
